Welcome to BailMeOut, developed by Imiza Studios. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. BailMeOut is engineered with a strict privacy-first, offline-first design. We do not collect, harvest, store, or sell your personal identifiable information (PII).

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

No user accounts, sign-ins, or profile registrations.
No access to personal names, contact books, email addresses, or phone numbers.
No audio recordings, ambient listening, or call interception.
No cloud transmission or storage of your photos or excuses.

3. Third-Party Advertising (Google Mobile Ads / AdMob)

To support ongoing development and offer BailMeOut for free, our application integrates the Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) SDK. Google AdMob may collect certain non-personal device diagnostics and identifiers in compliance with Google's Privacy Policy:

Device Identifiers: Advertising ID (GAID / IDFA), IP address, device model and OS version.
Performance Data: Ad viewability, crash logs, and interaction events.

4. Android Permissions & Justifications

BailMeOut requests explicit device permissions strictly to execute its escape simulation features on-device:

`SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM` / `USE_EXACT_ALARM`	Schedules exact second-precision timers for emergency fake calls.
`USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT`	Launches the realistic full-screen incoming call UI even when device is locked.
`SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW`	Displays incoming call alerts over active applications and system lock screens.
`FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE`	Maintains background countdown reliability if user locks screen before trigger time.
`VIBRATE`	Triggers realistic native vibration patterns synchronized with ringtone playback.
`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`	Delivers incoming call alerts and background timer status on Android 13+.
`READ_MEDIA_IMAGES`	Allows users to pick an optional custom avatar photo for fake callers locally. Never transmitted.
`INTERNET`	Enables AdMob banner ads loading and online ad policy compliance.

5. On-Device Storage & Data Retention

All user configurations, custom excuses, themes, and soundboard settings are kept locally on your device in secure app-private storage. You can erase all data at any time by clearing the application storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app.

6. Children's Privacy

BailMeOut does not target or knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. It is classified as an Everyone (PEGI 3) utility application.
